Born on the 7th May 1970
· Gained a degree at the Glasgow School Of Art
· Her artwork was inspired by Pablo Picasso
· Her artwork was exhibited in the Saatchi Art Museum, London
· She studied faceless and obese women and became fascinated with the workings of the human body.
· In many of her pieces, she shows distorted flesh, high-calibre brush strokes and revalations of the surgeons marks after plastic surgery.
·  In 1994 she began to observe and study plasic surery operations.
· Her artwork is usually much larger than lifesize.

Work

· “Branded” - Oil Painting  -  Her own face painted onto an obese body
· “Plan” - Oil Painting  - Before-surgery marks on a females body
· “Hybrid”  - Oil Painting  -  Pieces of the female body put together to create a unique form

Her style is based around the human body, mostly female or transgender. The techniques she uses most commonly are using oil paint to create patches of white. She also interperets line and repetition into some of her pieces e.g. Stare. In this piece she almost echoes parts of the face across the paper.
